Behind the Shot
I visited Cuba two times back in 2018 & 2020. These Cuban scenes capture the island’s unique juxtaposition of vibrant color, historical beauty, and visible decay. In these images, the faded grandeur of colonial-era buildings contrasts with the lively, sunlit streets, where classic American cars from the 1950s roll through narrow avenues. Local Cubans, caught in their daily routines, embody a sense of nostalgia, as if living in a time suspended between the past and present.
